Our History

Founded in 1928, The Hudson Valley Art Association is a National organization for representational painting, drawing, and sculpture. Started in the studio of Hudson River School painter, Jasper Cropsey.

National Juried Exhibition

Each year we host our national juried exhibition. The show typically runs for 6 weeks in Old Lyme, CT at the Lyme Art Association. We award over 17,000 in prizes. Last year we had over 400 submissions and accepted 168 pieces of art.
