Exhibitor's Information
DELIVERY: Receiving for hand-delivered work will be Fri, Sat, Sun 5/31-6/2/24 from 10a-5p.
Dates for receiving of shipped art are 5/24-5/31/24

Work must be ready to hang with frame and wire. Framing should be done in a traditional but not garish way, no strip molding. Artists should supply cases for very small work. Plaster or ceramic work should not be shipped.

A pedestal should accompany hand-delivered sculpture.
ENTRY CARD: please print the linked entry tags. Tags must be filled out completely. One tag should be FIRMLY attached to the back of your work or the bottom of your sculpture. The second tag should be attached to the front of your work in a way THAT WILL NOT DAMAGE YOUR WORK AND CAN BE REMOVED by the labeling committee. If you are shipping, both of these forms must accompany the work.

Sculpture maximum weight,100 lbs., limit of 80" vertically (with pedestal) x 36" wide and 36" deep.

Note: no styrofoam peanuts. Include a handling fee of $20 for painting or sculpture payable to Lyme Art Association.

HANGING: The Hanging Chair reserves the right to reject or not hang any work previously accepted by the jury for any reason, including size (44" framed), content, or condition of the painting or frame. The HVAA also reserves the right of the second refusal if, upon delivery, the work does not meet HVAA standards, does not live up to expectations, or fails to conform to the impression conveyed by the submitted slide or jpeg. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work. Once hung work must remain on the wall for the duration of the show.
COMMISSION: Sales 70% to artists and a percentage of the sale price to the HVAA Scholarship Fund.
HVAA is not responsible for lost or damaged artwork.
CATALOG: We will try to include all accepted work in the catalog by the image originally submitted online.
The publisher and designer have the right to refuse any file not adequate for printing.
